The Entreprise Finance Scheme
The Government has launched a support package to address the cash flow, credit and capital needs of small and medium-sized businesses in the UK. The Enterprise Finance Scheme is available to businesses with a turnover of up to £25m who are currently not easily able to access the finance they need.  This scheme will enable them to secure loans of between £1,000 and £1m through the Government’s guarantee, available up to 31 March 2010. The Carbon Trust
The Carbon Trust offer interest free loans of £3,000 - £500,000 for organisations to invest in energy saving projects, and are currently doing this by providing companies with unsecured interest-free loans repayable over four years to replace old plant and machinery with new energy efficient models.

Their business loans are unsecured and interest free, with no arrangement fees and a straightforward application process. Loans can be repaid over a period of up to four years and as the scheme is designed for energy savings to cover repayments, the loan will effectively pay for itself.
