There are 4.8 million small businesses in the UK. Over 500,000 people start up their own business every year. This year will you be one of them?
There are many reasons why people decide to start a business. Maybe you’re seeking an escape from the nine-to-five routine; maybe you can’t stand working for anyone else for another minute; perhaps you’ve just been made redundant or it’s just that voice inside that’s been nagging you for some time, ‘it’s time to start your own business’.
Thurrock Council is currently offering dedicated support to start-up businesses in Thurrock through our Low Carbon Business Programme. For more details on this please visit: http://www.lowcarbonbusiness.org.uk/index.php/about/start_up
